#books #amreading #nonfiction

Okay, this sounds interesting. I had to read a few things by Darnton, but I don’t remembre reading this one.

Hah. Well, My primary reason to get it was that there’s an English translation of Thérèse philosophe in it (it’s free on the internet in German and French, and while my French is still well enough to read it, I would have to translate parts of it (juicy bits) into English, and my French is just not well enough for that. I could translate from German to English, but that would be a seriously watered down version, probably… So, I got the book for 2.99 €, because when I can get some extra and obscure information, I’m not gonna say no ^^ Oh, and I need Thérèse philosophe for CoL. If I ever get to write again, I will probably make a blog post, bc it’s so interesting! Did you know that any kind of forbidden book, be it pornographic or challenging the authority of Church or King, was labelled as *philosophical* book, kept in a separate catalogue for philosophical works and distributed *under the cloak* ? IT’S SO INTERESTING SDJKHJKSA

After dipping my toes into the academic life, I found that's not for me, so I went on a foray into the juicy world of smutty fanfic, where I found my true calling: making other people feel through my words. Preferably horny.
